Guests have access to over 700 acres of private farmland and riverfront habitat that’s home to whitetail deer, wild turkey, and a variety of small game including rabbit, fox, bobcat, squirrel, quail, coyotes and raccoon. The land’s mix of fields, timber, and water creates ideal hunting conditions throughout the season.
A valid North Carolina hunting license is required, but you do not need a guide to hunt at Neechee Cabin. This is private land access for experienced hunters who want independence, privacy, and the freedom to hunt at their own pace.
Hunting seasons follow North Carolina state regulations and vary each year. Generally, deer season runs from September through December 31st. Turkey season is in the spring, and small game from fall through late winter. Updated season dates are listed on our website and confirmed with each booking.
We are not a guide service or a private club. Neechee Cabin offers the privacy and freedom of movement you expect with a private club, but with "ready to go" manicured land and tree stands you would expect from a guide service. We offer short term, self guided hunts on private land for true hunters.
